Xiang Zi was rescued at the slaughterhouse of a market in Wuhan at the end of October 2020. When she was found, there were several dogs in the cages waiting to be slaughtered. The GAPI team immediately contacted local volunteers in Wuhan to rush to the scene to buy the remaining dogs. Xiangzi is one of the lucky ones. But these terrible experiences made Xiangzi very timid and even very cautious when playing with other dogs. Although she has an American GAPI sponsor currently who cares about her, but we also want Xiangzi to have a real mother who is patient and caring so that she can feel the warmth of the family~~
